چکیده
Abstract Background An extensive quest for genetic variables impacting the susceptibility type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and other cardiometabolic disorders has been sparked by global growth in frequency of those widespread ailments. Although association between several SNPs T2DM reported prior research, little is known about FTO rs8050136, CDKAL1 rs10946398 Egyptian population. This study aims to investigate these two identified diabetic patients ascertain their underlying influences on T2DM. included 50 healthy subjects. Each individual underwent a clinical assessment total body examination, laboratory investigations including liver enzymes, fasting blood sugar, glycated hemoglobin (HbA1C), lipid profile. The DNA Purification Kit was used separate genomic from whole blood. Gene polymorphism detected via PCR-REFLP PCR-AS methods. Results There significant presence C allele gene at rs8050136 among studied people. patient group had considerably higher "AC" genotype "C" ( P < 0.05). Additionally, only wild-type homozygous “GG” found all cases. Conclusions "CC" significantly associated with However, no result may be attributed small sample size or rare incidence this SNP suggests verifying findings larger looking into relationship additional polymorphisms.

Diabetic dyslipidemia is one of the leading causes of coronary artery disease (CAD) death. Genetic and environmental factors play an important role in the development of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and dyslipidemia. The present study was aimed to investigate the association of ACE (rs4646994), FABP2 (rs1799883), MTHFR (rs1801133) and FTO (rs9939609) genetic polymorphism in T2DM with dyslipi...

Background: Diabetes is one of the most common chronic metabolic diseases in the world that is caused by decreased insulin secretion or insulin resistance and fat accumulation in visceral adipose tissue (IR). Omentin is a protein inferred from adipose tissue that is associated with the rate of diabetes. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between rs2274907 polymorphism of ...

Abstract Tuberculosis and diabetes mellitus are the most important reasons in mortality all over the world. It’s clear that reviewing of relationship between Tuberculosis (TB) and diabetes mellitus (DM) is necessary; on the other hand it’s found that FTO gene has the positive relationship with metabolic issues. Therefore, it’s necessary pay attention to the above and danger...
